Mepiform is a medical-grade silicone dressing designed for the prevention and treatment of all scars, particularly keloid and hypertrophic scars.
This scar dressing incorporates Safetac Technology, which helps manage and prevent the development of both old and new hypertrophic scars and keloids over time. The Safetac layer reduces pain and trauma during dressing changes. Mepiform’s silicone composition is clinically proven to improve the appearance of hypertrophic scars and keloids.
For preventive use, patients should wear Mepiform for 2 to 6 months, depending on the scar’s condition. It is recommended to wear it for 24 hours a day, except when showering or bathing.
