Product Overview

Mepilex Border Flex is an absorbent, self-adherent foam dressing featuring 360° Flex Technology for enhanced flexibility and conformability.

Mepilex Border Flex is an all-in-one wound dressing designed for improved conformability and secure adhesion. It effectively manages exudate, including bacteria, by trapping it more efficiently.

This versatile dressing is suitable for a wide range of exuding wounds, such as pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, traumatic wounds (e.g., skin tears), and surgical wounds. It can also be used on dry or necrotic wounds when combined with gels.

Mepilex Border Flex helps maintain a moist wound environment and features a waterproof outer layer to protect the wound from dirt and bacteria.

The dressing includes Safetac silicone adhesive, a layer that minimizes pain and trauma during dressing changes.

Mepilex Border Flex can be used for:

  • Moderate to heavily exuding wounds
  • Oval shape for challenging body contours
  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Leg and foot ulcers
  • Traumatic wounds, such as skin tears
  • Pressure injury prevention* and treatment

*When used in conjunction with a repositioning/offloading protocol.
