Micellar Casein is a protein powder that is slowly absorbed (up to 12 hours) and therefore supplies amino acids to the muscles over a long period of time. It is rich in naturally occurring branched-chain and essential amino acids (BCAAs and EAAs) and can assist in the maintenance and growth of muscle.
Pure Product Micellar Casein is completely undenatured, sourced from NZ grass-fed cows using ultra-filtration. It is naturally rich in Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) and Essential Amino Acids (EAAs).
As a slow-release, anti-catabolic protein powder, Pure Product Micellar Casein is ideal consumed as a night protein (before bed), when your body typically goes for hours without food.
Casein products are acid sensitive and thicken in the stomach. Compared to some other proteins, it can take longer for the Micellar Casein to be broken down into its amino acid sub-components.Ingredients:
Micellar Casein, Natural & Artificial Flavours, Natural Sweeteners (Steviol), Lecithin (0.02%).
Usage Directions:
Micellar Casein is ideally taken before bedtime when your body typically goes for hours without food. Mix 30 grams (1 scoop) with milk, juice or water. Adjust the amount of liquid to achieve your desired taste and caloric or protein requirements. Its thickness makes Casein perfect for a mousse. Best results come from using Micellar Casein as well as other natural protein sources, ensuring every meal provides the body with an adequate protein supply.
