Melolin Dressings are low adherent, highly absorbent dressings that provides cushioning for the wound. They are an alternative to gauze, are suitable for a variety of wounds that have a light to moderate amount of wound fluid (exudate).
Benefits:
- Absorbs excess fluid away from the wound.
- Cushions and protects the wound.
- Can be cut to size, retains its integrity when cut.
- Low-adherent protective pad, limits destruction of new tissue on removal of dressing.
Melolin dressings are ideal for: cuts, grazes, minor burns, stitches, staples, lacerations, and abrasions. Suitable for elderly patients in need of an absorbent dressing.
