Smith & Nephew Solosite Wound Gel 50g
Description:
Solosite is a soothing multi-use hydrogel wound dressing which creates a moist wound environment that aids healing and minimises the risk of scarring. It can donate moisture to rehydrate non-viable tissue.
This gel helps to create and maintain an optimal moist wound environment as it desloughs and debrides. The Solosite water “swellable” polymer remains gel-like until saturated, so it stays in the wound longer and requires fewer dressing changes. It is crystal-clear, physically stable formula doesn't change colour, enabling an unimpeded view of the wound.
Solosite can be used on minor burns, sunburn and cuts and grazes.
SoloSite Gel is easily applied and removed, with gentle irrigation being all that is required for removal.
Ingredients:
Purified water, Glycerin, Carboxymethylcellulose, Sodium, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
Usage Directions:
Cleanse the wound with saline or a suitable cleansing solution. Apply Solosite liberally to the affected area. May be used in conjunction with a secondary dressing like Opsite Post-op or Melolin. Where maximum absorbency is required, use Allevyn Dressings. The condition of the wound determines the choice of this dressing and the frequency of change.
For sunburn, re-apply on a regular basis to prevent the wound from drying out. For best results smear on, do not rub in.
Storage:
Store below 30°C in a cool place.
Warnings:
Always read the label and use only as directed.
For external use. If condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, consult a physician.
Do not use if sensitive to any of the ingredients.

If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Allergic Reaction
- In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.
Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.
