Benzemul Application for Scabies & Body Lice 200ml
Description:
Benzemul lotion is for the treatment of scabies and body lice. It works by killing lice and mites by acting on their nervous system.
The itching and rash of scabies can sometimes be mistaken for dermatitis or other skin conditions. Scabies is usually confirmed by finding the mite burrows in the skin, which are more commonly seen in the finger webs and wrists, although they may also be found in the genital area, breasts, palms of hands, or soles of feet. The mite burrows may be up to 1 cm long but are often obscured by scratching.
Ingredients:
Active ingredient: Benzyl Benzoate 25%
Usage Directions:
Test the product on the skin first to check for excessive stinging; if this occurs the product must be diluted (always dilute for use in children).
Treatment for scabies: Adults: After a bath, apply a thin layer of Benzemul to the cool dry skin of the whole body from the neck down using a soft brush. Allow to dry. Leave on for 24 hours. A second treatment after 5 days in only needed if live mites are present.
Children under 12 years: Dilute with an equal amount of water and proceed as per instructions for adults.
Treatment of Body Lice: Apply sufficient to thinly coat the affected region, except face and neck. Leave for 24 hours and wash thoroughly. Repeat after 7 days if evidence of live lice is present.
Other members of the family should be checked, and if necessary treated, to avoid re-infestation.
Clothing and bedding should be changed to prevent re-infestation.

Allergic Reaction
- In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.
Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.
