Chemists Own Diarrhoea Relief Plus 12 Chewable Tablets

Description:

Treatment of acute diarrhoea with associated gas-related abdominal discomfort.

  • Chewable mint flavoured tablets
  • Effective relief within 1 to 3 hours
  • Loperamide slows down the bowel movement and output of secretions in the gut.
  • Also contains Simethicone which effectively treats the pain and discomfort caused by wind (gas trapped in the stomach and bowel), including abdominal bloating, distension, cramping and fatulence

Ingredients:

Active Ingredients:

Each chewable tablet contains:

Loperamide Hydrochloride 2 mg, Simethicone 125 mg.

Contains glucose and lactose.

Usage Directions:

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

Chew 2 tablets initially followed by 1 tablet after each loose stool, as needed. Maximum of 4 tablets in 24 hours.

Storage:

Store below 25°C.

Protect from heat, light and moisture.

Warnings:

Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

Do not:

  • give to children under 12 years of age
  • take if you have a medical condition where constipation should be avoided

See your doctor or pharmacist before use:

  • if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • if you have a fever, severe stomach pain, bloody diarrhoea or ongoing condition affecting the bowel

Unless advised by a doctor, do not use:

  • for more than 48 hours
  • during pregnancy or lactation

While using this product: 

  • if the condition persists after two days of treatment, seek medical advice as soon as possible
  • if dehydration is suspected seek medical attention
  • drink plenty of fluids as fluid and electrolyte depletion may occur with diarrhoea

How We Handle Them:

Change of Mind

  • If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

Faulty Item

  • If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.

Allergic Reaction

  • In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.

Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.

Incorrect / Damaged Items

  • If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery. 

Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
