A valid physical prescription must be provided before we can send this product out via mail or courier. Private Prescription medicines are not eligible for a government PBS subsidy. The full cost of the prescribed medicine is covered by the patient. The cost of which may be claimed from private health insurance providers depending on the level of cover. Ezovir Famciclovir (500mg) Cold Sore Relief 500mg 3 Tablets
Description:
EZOVIR is an antiviral medicine used to treat recurrent outbreaks of cold sores in adults 18 years of age and over who have a normal immune system. Although EZOVIR does not cure the viral infection, it helps to relieve the symptoms and shorten the duration of an outbreak.
Cold sores usually begin on or around the lips, mouth, and nose as small red bumps that turn into fluid-filled blisters that can be tender and painful. Many people who get cold sores know when one is coming by a tingling, burning, itchy or painful sensation or redness in the area.
Cold sores can be unpredictable. The virus can become active again in the body, even after many years, resulting in recurrent outbreaks. For best results start the medicine as soon as possible after the onset of symptoms of a cold sore, such as tingling, itching or burning, or the appearance of the first signs, such as redness or swelling. This is when the virus is reproducing rapidly.
Ingredients:
EZOVIR Cold Sore Relief tablets contains 500 mg of famciclovir as the active ingredient.
The tablets also contain the following inactive ingredients: •microcrystalline cellulose
•crospovidone
•silicon dioxide
•copovidone
•sodium stearylfumarate
•Opadry II complete film coating system YS-22-18096 WhiteUsage Directions:
Follow all directions given to you by your pharmacist or doctor carefully.
If you do not understand the instructions on the label, ask your pharmacist or doctor for help.
Take EZOVIR as soon as possible after the first symptoms (e.g., tingling, itching or burning) or signs (e.g., redness or swelling) of a cold sore appear.
Do not take the tablets if a hard crust has already formed on the cold sore.
The usual dose is three 500 mg tablets taken together as a single dose.
However, if you have problems with your kidneys and your pharmacist has referred you to your doctor to see if this medicine is suitable for you, your doctor may have recommended a different dose.
Ask your pharmacist or doctor if you are unsure of the correct dose for you.
Storage:
Store in a cool dry place. Keep the medication in the container until you have to take it.

If you've had a change of mind about an item you have ordered, we'll need to receive it back to us unopened and unused, in the original packaging.

If the item you have received is faulty, please contact us with a detailed description of the product fault, alongside a photo if possible.
Allergic Reaction
- In the rare instance you've had an allergic reaction to a product, please discontinue use of the product immediately. We may reach out for further information on the reaction.
Allergy returns must be less than 20% used upon arrival back to us.
Incorrect / Damaged Items

If you have received an item that isn't what you ordered, or it arrived damaged, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please don't dispose of the item without informing us.
