Description:

Rejuvenail Anti-Fungal Nail Lacquer is easy to use, it has a brush applicator, and no filing is required. This lacquer is used for the treatment of mild to moderate nail infections.

Rejuvenail is a water-soluble formulation containing the active ingredient ciclopirox. Ciclopirox stops fungal growth and destroys most fungi that causes nail infections. It is painted onto the fingernails or toenails to treat the fungal nail infections. These medicines work by killing a wide variety of fungi that cause nail infections.

Rejuvenail has good penetration of the nail bed and is effective in preventing the growth of fungi and killing a wide variety of fungi that cause fungal nail infections.

Treatment should continue until clear and healthy nail have regrown. This usually takes 6 months for fingernails and 9 to 12 months for toenails.

Fungal nail infections are hard to treat, and a full cure depends on several factors, including how badly damaged the nail is. While Rejuvenail may treat the fungal nail infection it cannot repair the damage.

RejuveNail Anti-fungal Nail Lacquer is a clear, colourless to slightly yellow liquid.

Ingredients:

Ciclopirox 80mg/g

Contains: Ethyl acetate, Ethanol, Cetostearyl alcohol, Hydroxypropyl chitosan, Purified water

Usage Directions:

To be applied once daily.

Before applying Rejuvenail ensure that any nail polish is removed. Wash and dry the infected nail. Application in the evening before going to bed is recommended as the treated nails should not be washed for at least 6 hours. In the case of unintentional removal by washing, Rejuvenail can be reapplied.

Apply a thin layer over the entire nail surface of the infected nail and 5 mm of surrounding skin and if possible, under the free edge of the nail.

Allow to dry for at least 30 seconds.

Leave on the nail for at least 6 hours overnight and simply wash off with water in the morning.

Filing is not required. Do not apply cosmetic nail polish or other nail medication on the nails being treated for the duration of the treatment with Rejuvenail.

Treatment should continue until a healthy nail has regrown. This usually takes about 6 months for the fingernails and about 9 to 12 months for the toenails.

Nails grow slowly, about 2 to 3 mm per month for fingernails and 1 mm per month for toenails, so do not be disappointed if there is no visible improvement after a few weeks. Fungal nail infections are hard to treat, and a full cure depends on several factors, including how badly damaged the nail is.

It is important to continue treatment until nails are clear otherwise the condition can get worse again. You should consult your doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 6 months for fingernails and 12 months for toenails

Storage:

Keep your nail lacquer bottle in the carton to protect it from exposure to light.

Discard the bottle 6 months after first opening.

Store the bottle in a cool dry place below 30°C. Do not refrigerate.

Do not use RejuveNail Anti-fungal Nail Lacquer if: • you are allergic to ciclopirox or any of the other ingredients listed at the end of this leaflet. Do not use in children or adolescents below 18 years of age.

Do not use RejuveNail Anti-fungal Nail Lacquer after the expiry date (EXP) printed on the pack or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering. Do not use with cosmetic nail polish or other nail medication on the nails being treated.

Talk to your doctor: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are unsure about your condition or treatment, if you have severe nail infections, involving the crescent shaped area of the nail, if you experience skin irritation, redness or rash around the area of application.
